Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 1 cup red bell pepper diced
  • 1 cup green bell pepper diced
  • ½ cup yellow onion  diced
  • 10 links breakfast sausage sliced into ½” pieces (no sugar, pork sausage such as Applegate Naturals)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast

Instructions

  • HEAT the ghee in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • ADD the peppers and onion and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Sauté for about 5 minutes, until slightly softened.
  • ADD the sausage to the skillet and continue sautéing for another 2-3 minutes, until the sausage is heated through and browned.
  • REMOVE from heat and stir in the nutritional yeast.
