Low-Calorie Sausage Pepper Pan – LOW CAL
Ingredients
- ¾ cup red bell pepper diced
- ¾ cup green bell pepper diced
- ¼ cup yellow onion diced
- 10 links breakfast sausage sliced into ½” pieces (no sugar, pork sausage such as Applegate Naturals)
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
Instructions
- PREHEAT a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- ADD the peppers and onion and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Sauté for about 5 minutes, until slightly softened.
- ADD the sausage to the skillet and continue sautéing for another 2-3 minutes, until the sausage is heated through and browned.
- REMOVE from heat and stir in the nutritional yeast.
