Ingredients

  • 12 oz lean ground pork
  • ¼ cup onion minced
  • 2 tsp garlic minced
  • ¾ cup blackberries halved
  • 1 tbsp fresh sage finely chopped
  • 1 tsp fennel seed
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp ghee

Instructions

  • COMBINE pork, onion, garlic, sage, seasonings, and about ¼ of the blackberries in a large bowl and mix until well combined.
  • DIVIDE the mixture into 6 equal portions and shape into patties.
  • PRESS the remaining blackberries into the patties.
  • HEAT the ghee in a large skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side.
